Zscaler Global Marketing
Zscaler’s core message is simple: to scale and grow in today’s digital world, businesses must move to the cloud—and Zscaler is how they secure that transformation. As part of the in-house creative services team, I helped bring this narrative to life across global campaigns and digital touch-points.
As the Senior Designer, I worked closely with product marketing, demand generation, events, and regional teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC to design clear, high-impact visuals that translated complex security concepts into compelling brand stories. My work spanned infographics, event campaigns, digital ads, sales tools, and thought leadership assets—always with a focus on clarity, credibility, and visual consistency at scale.

Accept No Imitations Campaign for RSA Conference
The “Accept No Imitations” campaign was created for Zscaler’s presence at RSA Conference 2019, a major cybersecurity event drawing thousands of industry professionals. As competitors began to tack cloud security onto their legacy offerings—offering it as a checkbox feature rather than a core competency—we used this opportunity to reaffirm Zscaler’s identity as the original, purpose-built cloud security provider. Our message was clear: Don’t settle for imitators.
The challenge was turning that positioning into a clear, compelling visual story. Early concepts from marketing leadership were visually overly complex and lacked clarity.
So I proposed a new unorthodox, humorous, metaphor-driven approach. The idea: just because you slap a shark fin onto a goldfish doesn’t make it a shark. At surface level, it might look the part—but it’s still not the real thing. That metaphor captured the tone of the campaign and helped us stand apart from imitators.
I led design on a full suite of assets, including booth visuals, event signage, social media graphics, and digital ads.
Learnings & Results
Bold, tongue-in-cheek messaging and memorable visuals helped Zscaler spark curiosity among attendees and attract booth traffic
Humor gave the campaign a unique voice and stronger recall among attendees
Tight alignment between narrative and design reinforced Zscaler’s authenticity in a competitive space

Seize the Zero Trust Moment Campaign
Zscaler launched “Seize the Zero Trust Moment” in 2021 as a global virtual event to position the company as a leader in Zero Trust security. The campaign targeted C-level executives, customers, and security professionals—inviting them to explore how Zscaler’s latest innovations could accelerate digital transformation through a Zero Trust approach. The goal was to build brand authority, drive registrations, and engage enterprise decision-makers at scale.
To support the theme of urgency and convergence, I proposed the use of iris imagery—a visual metaphor for clarity, identity, and that pivotal moment of realization. This concept aligned with our creative director’s vision of energy converging into a single, transformative moment.
I designed a suite of promotional and in-event assets—including social graphics, email banners, keynote templates, and virtual stage visuals—anchored in a design language that emphasized motion, urgency, and focus. The visuals reinforced the campaign’s core message: now is the time to rethink legacy security models.
Learnings & Results
Using a compelling dynamic visual gave the campaign a powerful symbol to communicate visibility, identity, and vigilance
Simplifying dense security concepts through clean layouts and strong visual hierarchy made the content more accessible to business audiences and reinforced Zscaler’s position as a thought leader
Modern, trusted, and human-centered assets helped humanize cybersecurity—making it feel urgent, relatable, and actionable
